Established in 2017, Powerutilityleadership.com provides leaders in the Power Utility Industry with a practical guide for decision making. We focus primarily on supporting African Power Utility leaders by enabling informed decision making through the sharing of relevant leadership information and knowledge.  

The website is a platform to share insights, provide decision making tools, sectoral data and other resources to assist power utility leaders. Experts in the Power Utility Industry, will on a regular basis publish information on a wide variety of topics that are relevant to Power Utility Leaders.

Izak has wide experience in Utility Management including Financial Management, General Management, Operational Management and Strategy & Risk Management.  He has gained comprehensive experience as a strategist, corporate planner and risk manager.He has been in the Power industry for more than 30 years.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University Graduate School of Business and holds a Masters in Commerce (Financial Management) from the University of Pretoria.

Tinneke du Plessis


Tinneke has experience in the areas of improving operational efficiency through strategic analysis, translating strategy into operational goals, administrative and financial assistance, project management. She focuses on researching contemporary challenges in the Power Utility Industry. 

She holds a Bachelors of Commmerce from Rhodes University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

Aneke Grobler


Aneke focuses on the successful implementation of strategies through professional change management and the changed workplace behaviours that require sustained organizational change.

She holds a Bachelors of Commerce in Industrial Psychology from the University of Johannesburg and a Bachelors of Commerce (Honours) in Organizational and Industrial Psychology from the University of South Africa.
